We the Brazen's fifth draft is something that we're very proud of making. Here's the blurb for it :-)
House Kairos is the underwater city unto the city, a grand, almost self-sufficient behemoth. In its cold grasp, three lives become entangled.
Junara, a blind, autistic diplomat, has one month to prove his independence or else be paired back with an abusive caregiver. For this trial, he's given a servant as his only guide.
Clam is the elderly indentured servant assigned to Junara. In the limited time she has left, she decides to raise him as her own in the hopes he will turn out different than her previous masters.
Lumin is an exile, an immigrant, and her powers are sparse in an unfamiliar House despite her status as an Exalted. A staunch traditionalist, Lumin thinks a servant is not a suitable guardian for a child, and Clam must prove herself to Lumin to be allowed to stay with Junara.
The three discover a plot larger than what they’ve ever had to face before. All the while, a strange creature watches, waits, and listens.
